Mondor Center for Nursing and Health Sciences Reaches New Heights: A Topping Off Ceremony Celebration
This winter, we found ourselves celebrating another significant milestone—the topping-off ceremony for the Ben Mondor Center for Nursing and Health Sciences. This event marked the completion of the building’s framing, culminating in a memorable celebration that brought together members of the SNHS team, PC community members, and individuals from the construction and engineering teams.

On December 29, the final beam, a symbolic representation of the collective effort poured into this remarkable project, was blessed by college president Father Kenneth Sicard, O.P. The following week saw the beam adorned with signatures from those who have dedicated their time and expertise to bringing the Mondor Center to life.
With the beam in place, the Mondor Center is set to undergo interior construction throughout the winter and spring months. The carefully planned design and purposeful layout of the building will soon transform into a state-of-the-art facility, equipped to nurture and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Although the topping-off ceremony occurred during winter break, the spirit of the student body resonated throughout the event. While they may not have been physically present, their collective energy was undeniably felt.
As we reflect on this special moment, we look forward to the day when the Mondor Center opens its doors in early 2025, providing a hub for innovation, learning, and excellence in nursing and health sciences. The journey to this point has been filled with milestones, and with each step, we inch closer to realizing our vision.
