About SNHS

At the Providence College School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS), we prepare the next generation of nurses and health professionals to lead with both clinical excellence and human compassion. Grounded in PC’s Catholic and Dominican tradition, our education blends a strong liberal arts foundation with rigorous, hands-on clinical training — forming “healers” equipped to promote equitable health and human dignity for all people.
SNHS offers three undergraduate majors: Nursing, Health Sciences, and Health Policy and Management. Students learn in a student-centric, high-touch environment anchored by the state-of-the-art Ben Mondor Center for Nursing and Health Sciences, alongside the St. Martin de Porres Center for Health and Human Dignity, which brings a distinctive focus on ethics, equity, and the human side of care to everything we teach.
Since our founding in 2022, SNHS has quickly distinguished itself by pairing cutting-edge technology and simulation-based learning with a deeply personal, mission-driven approach. It’s a combination of academic rigor, values-based formation, and immersive clinical experience that prepares our graduates not just to meet the growing demand for healthcare professionals, but to lead with integrity and a genuine commitment to the people they serve.
